Hello

I’M KEISHA REAVES (she/her)

Keisha Reaves is the owner and clinical director of Push Thru Therapy. She is a Georgia native that has witnessed the stigma of mental health and has made it her mission to normalize therapy. She has been in the mental health field for more than sixteen years. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Services from Clayton State University and then completed her Master’s Degree in Counseling and Psychology at the University of West Alabama.

Keisha has worked with children and adolescents in the DFCS setting and children and adults with developmental disabilities. She has also worked in the hospital setting helping patients with acute diagnosis and substance use disorders. Keisha started her private practice in 2015 and recently expanded her office into a group practice in order to serve the increasing need of counseling to potential clients.

Keisha specializes in helping everyday women who seek to improve their ability to cope with their daily challenges. As a woman herself, she understands society’s pressures on women as they attempt to navigate their careers, family dynamics, relationships, and everyday life.

In addition to helping women, Keisha is also certified in perinatal mental health serving women who are trying to conceive, have fertility issues, have experienced infant loss, transitioning into motherhood as well as postpartum depression. She has volunteered with Northside Hospital’s bereavement group. She serves on the Postpartum Support International Georgia Chapter Board as the Training Coordinator. And she currently is one of the facilitators of the Mocha Moms Group at Atlanta Birth Center. Black maternal health and reproductive education is a strong passion of hers. Providing access to resources and providing mental health services to women of color is a mission of Keisha’s. She likes training providers on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, educating them on implicit bias and how to become more culturally competent in order to better serve birthing parents.

Jasmine Rockemore (she/her)

It is my pleasure to help clients in their healing journeys. I have an Associate License in counseling years of experience treating couples and families affected by various Mental Health Diagnoses. Furthermore,I have a passion to make a difference in my profession as I am a Ph.D. Candidate for Counselor Education and Supervision. My mission is to motivate and inspire clients to eradicate fear and live in freedom. I believe that building a therapeutic rapport with clients is essential to their healing process. I consider all my clients to be the experts of their lives and encourage them to stand firm in their power.

I am also committed to helping my clients develop balance during transitions. As we earn more opportunities in life, we often face imposter syndrome and feel inadequate to achieve in our new life role. These transitions may include obtaining a new job, moving to another state, ending or starting a relationship, getting married, and parenthood. Importantly, I have training in Perinatal Mental Health to counsel mothers and families in dealing with the challenges of welcoming a new baby.

I use a Person-Centered therapeutic approach in guiding my clients in leading fulfilling lives. Additionally, I am trained in EMDR treatment, which allows clients to heal from trauma through bilateral stimulation. I often give my clients homework to ensure they continue the healing process and take care of themselves outside of the session. I specialize in providing treatment for individuals with PTSD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Depression, low self-esteem, and Adjustment disorders. My interest area is women who have been affected by sexual assault, miscarriage, and grief. As a therapist, I strive to be a catalyst for healing in difficult life experiences that alter a person’s sense of trust in the world.

Jessica Tiwari (she/her) is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor.  Her  experience working with people with disabilities has shown her the impact that our physical condition often has on our mental well being, social life, career and relationships. Jessica decided to begin working with women experiencing fertility, perinatal, and postpartum issues after realizing the lack of services and resources available to many women in these situations. She is passionate about making these resources more readily available to those that need them.

Jessica’s approach to counseling is a collaborative effort between her client and herself to work towards goals that align with the client’s values, beliefs and aspirations. She utilizes mindfulness based cognitive therapy to help her clients work towards goals while teaching techniques and coping mechanisms to relieve the client’s current symptoms and help the client process past trauma. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Emory University and her Master’s in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Georgia State University. She is currently taking courses to become certified in perinatal mental health to better serve the community.
