The goal of this postpartum plan is to start the discussion and thought process of life
after baby. Having this put into place will reduce a lot of stress and anxiety. However,
We must keep in mind that as much as we like to prepare and plan, babies create the unexpected.
The good thing about planning and preparing, is that we’re
allowing ourselves to be more equipped mentally and physically than without having a plan.
The topics that are discussed in this plan are all things that come up during the fourth trimester of motherhood such as creating a meal plan, identifying supports, infant feeding, siblings of the new baby, the adjustment period, self-care, and mental health.
